In this class, the instructor focuses on training the student to recognize cutting and polishing issues, understand how to correct them, and develop a trained eye for identifying surface problems. Emphasis is also placed on building precise communication skills for referencing cutting and polishing positions. Prerequisite is successful completion of Basic Gemstone Cutting Class.
Intermediate Gemstone Cutting

Course Overview:
The Intermediate Gemstone Cutting Class builds upon the foundation established in the Basic class. Students will advance their understanding of gemstone dopping, transfer techniques, cutting diagram interpretation, and refining polishing methods. Emphasis is placed on achieving precise symmetry and meet points. All required tools, diagrams, and facet-grade materials are provided. Duration: Two days of structured, hands-on instruction. . The schedule is from 09:00 to 18:00 each day, totaling 16 hours of hands-on gemstone cutting. The project manuals, personal notes, and the faceted gemstone are yours to take home. The gemstone will be color-graded and its estimated value will be assessed based on the world market. Upon successful completion of the class, attendees will receive a diploma certifying their completion of the intermediate-level gemstone faceting class requirements. Once the enrollment purchase is complete, a follow-up email will be sent with the itinerary, final enrollment paperwork, and useful information.
Refund policy. Please email request to cancel to Kgemstone to request cancellation of class 10 days from start date will recieve full refund. If such Termination Notice is not received within the about term (10 days) prior to the start of the class applicable to this Contract, Kgemstone will refund only 60% of the Fees (40% of the fees will be kept as Penalty for late cancellation). However, Class Attendee can enroll anytime afterwards in any course and the penalty will be deducted from the Fees.
