Basic Gemstone Cutting

Location: Chiang Mai Thailand.

Date: December 6th & 7th, 2025

Time: 0900-1200, 1300-1800

Course Overview:

The Basic Gemstone Cutting Class is the entry point to our professional gemstone cutting training program. This course provides participants with foundational skills and knowledge essential for developing into a professional gem cutter. Attendees will learn basic cutting techniques, proper equipment handling, and essential polishing methods. All necessary equipment, instructional materials, and facet-grade gemstones are supplied. Duration: Two days of combined theoretical and practical instruction. The schedule is from 09:00 to 18:00 each day, totaling 16 hours of hands-on gemstone cutting. The project manuals, personal notes, and the faceted gemstone are theirs to take home. The gemstone will be color-graded and its estimated value will be assessed based on the world market. Upon successful completion of the class, attendees will receive a diploma certifying their completion of the basic level gemstone faceting class requirements. Once the enrollment purchase is complete, a follow-up email will be sent with the itinerary, final enrollment paperwork, and useful information.

Refund policy.  Please email request to cancel to Kgemstone to request cancellation of class 10 days from start date will recieve full refund. If such Termination Notice is not received within the about term (10 days) prior to the start of the class applicable to this Contract, Kgemstone will refund only 60% of the Fees (40% of the fees will be kept as Penalty for late cancellation). However, Class Attendee can enroll anytime afterwards in any course and the penalty will be deducted from the Fees.
